How to set up your stripe account on Peatix

Peatix uses Stripe as its payment processor to securely transfer ticket sales revenue to event organizers. 

This guide will help you connect your Stripe account, understand the payout process, and ensure everything is properly set up so you can start collecting funds.




To begin receiving payouts from ticket sales on Peatix, follow these steps:


1. Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of any Peatix page and select “Settings”.


2. In the left-hand menu, click “Payouts.” Then, click the “Connect your Stripe account”.


3.Stripe will guide you through a secure onboarding process. 

You’ll need to enter key details such as your legal name or business name, bank account information, and address.

* If you already have a Stripe account, you can log in and connect it. Otherwise, you’ll be prompted to create a new account.



Confirmation of Connection

Once connected, your Peatix settings will show a status message “Connected Stripe account” along with a link to your Stripe dashboard.



Where to View Payouts and Transactions

You can view your transaction and payout history by logging into your Stripe dashboard:

  • Go to: https://dashboard.stripe.com
  • Navigate to “Payments” to see incoming revenue
  • Go to “Payouts” to track money transfers to your bank account



How to Disconnect Your Stripe Account

If you need to stop receiving payouts or wish to unlink your current Stripe account, you can disconnect it from Peatix at any time.


* Disconnecting your Stripe account will pause all payouts. You will not be able to receive new payments or issue refunds until a new account is connected.


1. Go to Settings > Payouts

2. Click “Disconnect Stripe account”

3. Confirm the unlinking action when prompted


After disconnecting, the Connect your Stripe account button will reappear, allowing you to re-link or switch to another Stripe account when ready.
