How to create an event (Virtual)
To create an event page, click "Create Event".
1. Enter basic information
Using AI to create the page:
When you enter keywords related to your event, an event description will be generated automatically.
- Enter the event keywords in "A few words about your event".
- Select the event start date, time, and time zone.
- Choose the ticket type.
- Enter the URL of the streaming tool you will be using.
- Click "Generate with AI".
Creating the page yourself:
If you prefer to write your own event details, click "Skip, I’ll craft my own event details".
2. Enter detailed information
Using AI to create the page:
The event name and description will be entered automatically. Review and modify any details as needed.
Creating the page yourself:
The event name will be displayed as "Untitled", and the event description will be blank. Enter your preferred details and select the event start date, time, and time zone.
Common steps:
- Select the event end date and time.
* If you click the calendar icon in the top right, a new draft event will be generated with the same details as the original event.
- Set a cover image that represents the event.
* If you click "Generate image with AI" > "Proceed", an image will automatically be generated.
* Recommended size: 1024 x 512 px
* Supports JPEG, PNG, GIF with a maximum file size of 5 MB
- In the "Additional notes to online attendees", enter instructions on how to join the event and any necessary passwords. Images, videos, HTML tags, and URLs cannot be inserted.
3. Create tickets
Select the ticket type from "Free" ,"Paid" or "Token gated". Multiple types of tickets can be created.
Free:
Enter the ticket name and quantity, then click "Add ticket".
Paid:
Enter the ticket name, price, and quantity, then click "Add ticket".
* Click "Calculate your ticket fees" to see the amount after deducting fees.
* Click "Add promo code" to enter a code and the new price after the discount.
Token gated:
Enter the ticket name, blockchain, contract addresses, and quantity, then click "Add ticket." Multiple contract addresses can be set.
*Only Ethereum and Polygon are supported.
Notes
* After the event page is published, ticket names and prices cannot be changed. To change ticket names or prices, delete the existing ticket and create a new one. Tickets that have been sold cannot be deleted after the event is published. The number of tickets available for sale can be changed at any time.
* You can conduct a questionnaire when attendees order tickets. For settings, refer to the following page:
4. Publish the page
Once you have reviewed all the details, click "Preview" to check the contents.
To continue editing, click "Back to edit".
Click "Publish" at the bottom of the screen to display a pop-up window. Click "Publish" again to publish the event page.
To view the published page, click "View Event page".
To return to editing, click "Back to edit".
